Google Virtual Tours - how to share them online

If you’ve added a Google Virtual Tour to your business profile then you probably want to know how to you could share this Virtual Tour on various platforms including, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, Snapchat and Whatsapp.

Go to your Google Business Listing on Google Search or Google Maps.

Instead of viewing the tour through Google Search , click on the maps thumbnail on your business profile to view your listing and Virtual Tour on Google Maps.

Once your listing is visible on maps, scroll down to view the 360 thumbnails right underneath your businesses information then click on one of the thumbnails.

Take a walk through your Google Virtual Tour and select a starting point. This starting point can be the view of the entrance of your business or it could be your favourite spot inside your business.

This view will be the first view the person clicking on your link will see.

Now that you’ve selected your starting point, we’ll generate a link to share your virtual tour.

In the top-left corner of your screen you’ll see the profile of the business who conducted your 360 virtual tour and right next to their business name is 3 little dots.

Click on those dots to open a menu that will give you three options. 

You want to click on the 3rd option “Share or embed image”.

Now that you’ve selected your starting point, we’ll generate a link to share your virtual tour.

Here Google Maps will automatically generate a link to share on multiple platforms and posts.

Copy the link and paste it in a posts, chats, emails or messages and share your new tour with your customers.

Google will also give you the option to share the link directly via Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
